Staying safe

Golden rules

1. Sellers: release only after the Naira is in your account — check your banking app, not an SMS or screenshot.
2. Buyers: tap I have paid only after the transfer has gone through.
3. Pay from, and receive into, accounts in your own name.
4. Keep every conversation in the Nexlm trade chat.
5. Never share your password or OTP. Nexlm staff will never ask.

Transfer narration

Leave the narration blank or use something neutral. Don't mention crypto, XLM or Nexlm.

Check your counterparty

• Prefer traders with a verified badge, completed trades and a high completion rate.
• Read the order terms before opening a trade.

Protect your account

• Use a unique password you don't use elsewhere.
• Log out on shared devices.
• Verify links go to the real Nexlm app before logging in.
